As a dentist, Dr. Eftekhar Hassani is both a highly competent doctor and an artist. When deciding on a career, Dr Hassani realized that dentists are more creative than medical doctors, and that aesthetic appealed to her. She also loved the idea that she could make lasting improvements in patients’ health through dental care.
Dr. Hassani chose Howard University College of Dentistry for her education, and then cared for patients for 16 years, gaining more experience and expertise every year. She became the owner of Metropolitan Family Dental in Rockville, Maryland in 2013 and has built a team that supports her gentle and empathetic approach to dentistry.
Excellence in care is extremely important to her, so she and all her certified staff advance their education each year. Her patients describe her as calming, concerned and professional.
Outside of the office, it’s not surprising that Dr. Hassani loves to paint. She also enjoys reading classic novels and spending time with her family.
